Police Blotter: Nap Time, a Deer's Noose and Nude and Wrapped in a Comforter
June 20 – 3:06a.m: A woman reportedly entered the Quik Stop on Crespi Drive nude and “wrapped in a comforter.” A customer of the convenient store informed Pacifica Police and the woman was later escorted back to her nearby hotel room. 9:28a.m: Graffiti was sighted at the Pacifica Skatepark . An unknown vandal drew male genitalia, sexual statements and other drawings on the park benches.
June 21 – 10a.m: A transient male was reportedly seen laying on Highway 1 with a shopping cart. 5:15p.m: A shopper at Manor Plaza reported an iPad stolen from her unattended vehicle.
June 22 – 7:20a.m: A hit and run accident was reported at the intersection of Sharp Park Road and College Drive. 6:04p.m: A male subject in a black Buick reportedly drove down the 1100 block of Fernandez way yelling obscenities and throwing a water bottle at a passerby on foot.
June 23 – 11:03a.m: A contract building inspector reported to Pacifica Police that while working at the intersection of Rosita Road and Perez Drive he heard what could have been a shotgun blast. 8p.m: A juvenile left his bike unsecured nearby the Sharp Park Golf Course to search for golf balls, and returned to find the bike had been stolen.
June 24 – 11:06a.m: A woman’s boyfriend attempted to assault her in the parking lot of Sea Bowl. The man allegedly spit in her face and pulled her to the ground to hit her. She ran and called Pacifica Police from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
June 25 – 7:30a.m: Graffiti was reported at a residence on the 400 block of Andover Drive. The phrase “[explicative] YOU [explicative]” was written in black pen on the home. 6:57p.m: A deer was sighted between the baseball diamonds of Linda Mar School with a rope around its neck. The resident of the area who made the report was concerned that the deer would be injured or choked.
June 26 – 10:30a.m: On a routine patrol, a Pacifica Police officer noticed graffiti at the Linda Mar Shopping Center. Several phrases and tags including “Smok Trees” and “2A” has been spray painted in black and green around the shopping plaza. 9:17p.m: Two juveniles riding their bicycles on the 600 block of Crespi Drive approached Pacifica Police on patrol to report vandalism to Cabrillo School. Glass in the main entrance of the school’s B wing and adjacent windows had been broken. Police recovered a bicycle helmet inside the building among the broken glass and booked it as evidence. At the time, the suspect was unknown.
