More mobile clinics for DoH

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DoH) will receive nine buses from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) this week that will be converted into mobile clinics and assigned in areas where doctors or medical services remain scarce.

Health Secretary Enrique T. Ona said the mobile clinics will contain essential medical equipment such as ECG, X-ray, laboratory equipment and refrigerator for blood units.

Doctors and nurses will be assigned to the mobile clinics that can  also be used for minor surgical operations.
