Arizona climber rescued from El Diente
At 9 a.m. San Miguel Sheriff’s Office Commander and Paramedic Eric Berg went up in the helicopter. Hunt spotted the three climbers and was able to make a “toe-in landing”— a hazardous maneuver in which the helicopter skid just barely touches the ground and the rotors are very close to the mountainside. Berg was able to exit and traverse the scree slope to the party.

Airplane enthusiasts and history buffs will want to see this famous aircraft of WWII. The B-25 Mitchell named “Maid in the Shade” will arrive at Pangborn Memorial Airport on Monday, July 18 and will be through Wednesday, July 20.
The Commemorative Air Force Arizona Wing Museum in Mesa, AZ is touring this restored bomber to “Honor our Veterans Past and Present.”

The bomber is maintained and operated as a flying museum and memorial by the all- volunteer non-nonprofit Commemorative Air Force, Arizona Wing Aviation Museum based in Mesa, AZ. The Arizona Wing members restored this B-25 Mitchell Bomber “Maid in the Shade” and is a veteran of 15 combat missions flying out of Corsica for engine repairs and will be touring with “Maid in the Shade” at the end of July.
Display dates at Pangborn Memorial Airport July 18, noon arrival on display till 6PM; July 19-20 9AM till 6PM, and July 21 morning departure for Lewiston, ID.
